Version 1.1 is here!

Here's a new update!

• I've added the ability to switch characters at the title screen. (It felt a bit disappointing that the second player character could only be used with the second controller.)
• I made a minor cosmetic change to make it easier to tell when an enemy is about to throw a punch.

Outside the game itself:

• I've created a 128x128 label for the PICO-8 cartridge!

I literally can't add anything else to this game anymore—I'm at the code token limit for PICO-8! (8188 of 8192) xP

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to this free game. As of today, Backstreet Warriors has raised almost $160!

Honestly, when I published this game, I didn’t expect to get much (or any) donations. I didn’t make it with commercial intentions—I just wanted to complete something small while working on my larger projects.
